What, exactly, is a squircle? That was my first thought when I saw the word. In this interview, author and thought leader Francis Cholle explains brilliantly how he’s applied these two shapes to two different types of thinking, both of which are super important to both our creative thought, our productivity, and our general well-being.
In this interview, we talked about:
- the importance of slowing down, meditation, and breath to connect with your creativity (and he did a brief guided meditation)
- the two different types of thinking: circle & square
- how to use them together to develop your creativity
- what happens when you rely solely on square thinking
- how letting go of your goals is sometimes the only way to reach them and yes, this is a paradox which Francis explains
- the importance of relaxing into the unknown
