Ella Miller has spent her entire career as a highly creative woman in the demanding field of advertising. She’s managed to continue to keep her ideas fresh and new with some of her favorite creative thinking strategies AND with feeding her own personal creative callings.
We talk about both in this interview.
In this interview, we talked about:

- the value of mentorship
- how she maintains and feeds her creativity while working as a professional creative
- how focusing on her personal creative endeavors brought her back to herself and her joy
- how finding your joy can help to light your own creative fire

Ella Miller – an award-winning Brand Writer and Conceptor with over 25 years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions. 4 of her recent online commercials just won a total of 6 Telly Awards honoring excellence in video and television across all screens. And those videos can be viewed on her website, MILLERWRITER.NET. Ella’s curiosity, creativity, and talent for writing have helped build business for big-name brands such as Quaker, Tropicana, Medline, Curad, Cricket Wireless, Jockey, Topco, and hundreds more!
Ella is also an entrepreneur who, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, left a Senior position at a Chicago agency and boldly launched her freelance career and blogsite, The Positivity Tree (found at thepositivitytree.com). It was her way of proving good things like freedom and more time for what matters can rise from difficulty and uncertainty. Ella now has more time to focus on her writing, painting, passion for reimagining furniture, and her #1 priority — her FAMILY and the fun of raising 3 boys!
