It stops us. Fear of what people will think. Fear of failing. Fear of not doing something right. I invited Joelle to be on the podcast because I remember watching her deal with her fear, publicly and openly, when she “came out” as a spiritual medium. Though she knew this was part of her life purpose, fear had stopped her for years.
Just like it kept me from writing and sharing my own voice for years.
If imposter syndrome or fear has stopped you from exploring or sharing your own creative callings, give this episode a listen. It might help!
In this episode, we discussed:
- How Joelle overcame her fears
- Why diving all in and going for it can be better than taking baby steps that might feel a little safer
- How embracing the discomfort of trying or doing something new is what leads to growth
- How yoga (and really any physical challenge) can help train our brain to get through the fight or flight response which will help us get through the emotional and spiritual challenges of imposter syndrome
