WEEKLY WRITE ALONG

CREATE the time

CONNECT with community

WRITE the damn book

Ready to write your book?

Wish you could find the time to do it?

The Weekly Write Along is a 10-week program for people who want to write their nonfiction book.

We will meet twice a week to write together and track your progress, so that you create a consistent writing practice.

That's what it takes to write and finish your book.

You'll learn how to break down your project, discover your best writing practices, and break through the creative and mindset blocks that stop you from putting your words on paper.

This program is for you if you’re an aspiring author who has ever had your nose shoved deep in a book and found yourself wishing, with every cell in your body, that, YOU'D BEEN THE ONE WHO'D WRITTEN IT.

But you haven’t been writing, so you didn't write that book.

It's TIME to start writing your book, in your voice, that impacts your readers.

Imagine discovering what works FOR YOU to support consistent, productive writing sessions that leave you feeling confident and that lead to progress on the draft of your book.

Imagine being that much closer to having a book, one that you wrote!

You can have that in the Weekly Write Along!

What do you need to get the most out of this program?

  • a book idea that you're excited to write
  • a computer with internet access.
  • a willingness to prioritize your writing, either in daily sessions or several times per week

The Weekly Write Along is for you if:

  • You already feel like a writer
  • You’re clear on your message
  • You know what you're writing
  • You’re ready to start drafting chapters
  • You may have already written a book and you're ready to write the next one
  • You’re struggling to find the time to write and hold yourself accountable to write your book

The Weekly Write Along is NOT for you if:

  • You’re not sure what you’re writing about
  • You’re looking for editorial feedback
  • You want to know if your book or ideas “work”
  • You don’t know where to start and aren’t sure how to move forward
  • You say this: "I want to write a book but I'm not a writer"
  • If you need help to get ready for the next Write Along program, book an Idea Clarity Session or a Discovery call.

"Finding Amy to be my nonfiction book coach was a blessing straight from heaven...

She helped me find the time, organize my thoughts, and relieved my anxiety about all the 'how do I write a book!!?? questions' For bonus points, I discovered I had not just one but TWO awesome books in me!"

"I knew I needed guidance if I was ever going to see a project to the end.

Before writing with Amy in her weekly writing program, I had many projects started, but I couldn’t get through the 'messy middle.' The accountability in the program was huge!! Seeing everyone in each writing session and knowing that we were all working toward a similar goal was encouraging and motivating. Amy also provided great guidance with the writing process.”

A NOTE FROM AMY

amy pic

I spent 20 years denying the call to write because I didn’t think I was “good enough,” despite having a BA in English and an MA in Literature.

I discovered I am good enough. So are you.

Many of us refuse the call to write because we’re afraid - afraid that we're not good enough, that nobody will read it anyway, that it's too big of a project, that we don't know how or even where to start.

Not writing what our heart feels called to share is a painful and frustrating denial of self, in many ways.

In the hero’s journey, when the hero gets “the call to adventure,” they have the choice to move forward or not.

If they don't answer the call, they stay stuck, watching others do what they dream of doing (like reading books they wish they’d written).

Answer the call. Start writing. Work with me in this small group to figure out what works for you.

The world needs your story and your message.

xo,

Amy
